From Hollywood to Hampton
The mission of Next Generation Storytellers is to create opportunities for youth of all backgrounds in the film industry. Behind the scenes are Hollywood actors Trent Garrett (IG: @trentkgarrett) and Jacob Young (IG: @jacob_w_young), with support from Director of Photography Roy H. Wagner (IG: @rhwasc). The first installation, featured here, is geared toward Garrett’s home region in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Next Generation Storytellers wants to ensure access to practical experience and creative immersion in entertainment, media, and technology so that future audiences are offered content reflective of all communities.

We love our community and are committed to giving back. That’s why we produced this powerful video showcasing the 30-year anniversary of Dream Catchers in Toano, just up the road from Williamsburg. Founded in 1993, Dream Catchers is a 501(C)(3) charitable organization that provides a wide range of equine-assisted services (EAS). Their participants represent a diverse community of people with special needs, at-risk youth, and veterans, from Richmond to Hampton, the Middle Peninsula, and the Northern Neck. Dream Catchers’ therapeutic interventions and educational programs help develop healthier, more productive citizens creating a positive impact on our community today and in the future.
